Good morning peeps, meditation done.

I find meditation, reading and walking really stimulates my mind and helps me with my thoughts
The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. If our mind is peaceful, we will be free from worries and mental discomfort, and so we will experience true happiness and we are able to think with more clarity.
There are so many benefits to picking up a good book and getting lost in it. When we read, we can get so lost that it actually takes us to a different place and time, with different characters. It provides a much-needed break from the stresses of everyday life without ever leaving our home. And when we read about things beyond our own personal experience, we come to a greater understanding of what others go through and expand our own range of thinking.
I adore walking with my dogs Zeus and Zorro. Though the woods, up a hill, along the beach – my walk is my favourite part of the day. My walk clears my head and creates time and space to think clearly.
For me yoga is like walking my dogs Zeus and Zorro, it is something I have to do everyday, sometimes I do not feel like doing it, but every time I do it I feel amazing when I have finished.
When it’s cold, dark and rainy outside the last thing I want to do, is get up out of my cosy bed and do it, but I make myself do it everyday and never ever regret it.
Not doing yoga or taking Zeus and Zorro for a walk is not an option, Zeus and especially the younger more energetic Zorro will be hyperactive and bored all day, which will lead to discipline and behavioural problems, which will not be good for either of us.
It is similar thing with my body and mind if I do not practice yoga on my mat that day, my mind and body will be distracted and I will not have a fully fulfilled day.
So I get up meditate, practice yoga, read and take Zeus and Zorro and for a walk everyday, which along with a healthy diet prepares my mind and body fully, to be happy and healthy to fulfil the daily activities I need to do to achieve my goals and live the life I dream of.
